Move Utah, in partnership with the Wasatch Front Regional Council; the Utah Department of Transportation; Utah Transit Authority; Bike Utah; Jordan River Commission; Mountainland Association of Governments; Utah Department of Health; Utah Governor’s Office of Outdoor Recreation; and Davis, Salt Lake, Utah, and Weber counties, invites you to participate in a group bike ride and family-friendly event to celebrate the Golden Spoke trail network.The Golden Spoke consists of over 100 miles of safe and connected multiuse trails, including Provo River Parkway, Murdock Canal Trail, Jordan River Trail, Legacy Trail, Denver and Rio Grande Western Rail Trail, and Ogden River Parkway and links Provo and Ogden.
This free event will include a group bike ride that travels north to High Adventure Park in Ogden. Additionally, there will be community events hosted along the way, as well as the Heritage Festival 150 Edition. A Bike Valet will be provided by Move Utah and the Ogden Bike Collective at the Heritage Festival at Union Station.
The group bike rides and event are free, but registration is requested.
Free transit passes will be available, courtesy of UTA, to help participants get back to their vehicles. 200 passes will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
